Migratory heron found, returned to environment authorities in Oman

Muscat: A migratory heron bird was handed over to the environment department by a citizen in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate .

A statement issued online by the Environment Authority (EA), said: "A citizen graciously handed over the migratory heron to the environment department in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate, where it was released again in the wild. We always value the cooperation of everyone in order to protect living organisms and in support of the efforts made by the authority in protecting and preserving the wildlife in the Sultanate."
