Royal Navy of Oman's ship carrying aid sets sail to Sudan

Muscat: The Sultanate has sent a Royal Navy of Oman ship loaded with relief materials to Sudan. The Ministry of Defence said that in coordination with the Omani Charitable organisation, a ship of the Royal Navy of Oman, loaded with relief materials,

set sail from Said bin Sultan Naval Base to Sudan on Wednesday.

This is based on the directives of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, and within the framework of the assistance provided by the Sultanate to friendly countries in cases of emergency.

Oman continues to send aid to Sudan which has been affected by floods.
