Covid-19: Frontline health workers in UAE receive vaccine

Muscat: Teams of health workers and first responders who make up the first line of defense against the novel coronavirus have started receiving vaccines to keep them safe from the pandemic, the UAE's Ministry of Health and Prevention announced on Tuesday.

The Ministry, in a statement said, "Protecting them (health workers) means protecting our community, and keeping them safe means keeping the community safe. Our first line of defense has started receiving the Covid-19 vaccine."
