Two reports of workers' rights violation recorded in five days: GFoW

Muscat: The General Federation of Oman Workers (GFoW) has recorded two reports of workers' rights violation within a span of five days. 

According to the federation, the reports included a deduction of wages, forcing workers to go on unpaid leave, deduction of leaves for quarantine periods from annual leave, and notifications of termination of service.

A statement issued online by the federation said, "Signing of 18 settlement minutes and a collective work agreement during the period from 13th to 17th September 2020, and the total amounts to 237."

According to the data shared by the Federation, in the period from 13th to 17th September, two reports of various violations were monitored.
