Two women arrested for engaging in immoral activities

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has arrested two women for engaging in acts contrary to morals and public morals and violating the work and residence laws. 

A statement issued online by ROP said, "The Criminal Investigations and Investigations Department, led by the Al-Dhahirah Governorate Police, managed to arrest two African women on charges of engaging in acts contrary to morals and public morals and violating the work and residence laws."

"They were arrested red-handed in one of the rented apartments, where they communicate with people using a social media program, and legal procedures are being completed against them."

"The Royal Oman Police calls on property owners to verify the identity and activities of tenants and to report any practices that violate morality and public order, and also calls on employers to report runaway workers in order to free them from legal liability," the statement added.
