5.2 magnitude earthquake doesn't pose tsunami threat to Oman

Muscat: The Sultanate will not be affected by tsunami, following an earthquake in the Indian Ocean, the Public Authority of Civil Aviation (PACA) informed on Saturday.

In a statement issued online, Oman’s Meteorology authority said: “No potential tsunami due to an earthquake in Owen Fracture Zone Region at 05:17 MCT with magnitude 5.2 and depth 5km.”
