Driver arrested for drifting, damaging light pole in Oman

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) have arrested a person for displaying and drifting in his vehicle and fleeing after he hit a light pole in North Al Batinah Governorate.

A statement issued online by the ROP said, "North Al Batinah Governorate Police Command stopped a vehicle driver on charges of displaying, drifting and fleeing after colliding with a lighting pole in the Wilayat of Sohar. Legal procedures are completed against him in preparation for referring him to the judicial authorities."
