Two people found dead in a septic tank

Muscat: Two people who were cleaning sewage in a house in Sohar were found dead in a septic tank, the Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance (PACDA) authorities said.

A statement issued by Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance, (PACDA) said, "The authority's teams in the North Al-Batinah Governorate enabled two people to be pulled out of a septic tank while they were performing sewage cleaning work in a house in the Wilayat of Sohar, and they were dead. The authority calls on homeowners and workers to ensure safety requirements when dealing with tanks and sewage."
