Six arrested in Oman for possession, discharge of unlicensed firearms

Muscat: Six people have been arrested on charges of possessing unlicensed firearms and firing bullets at a social event in Khasab.

A statement issued by the Royal Oman Police, (ROP), said: "The Musandam Governorate Police Command has arrested six people on charges of possessing unlicensed firearms and firing bullets at a social event in the Wilayat of Khasab. Legal measures have been taken against them and the weapons have been confiscated."
