178 new coronavirus cases, 8 deaths reported in Oman

Muscat: The Ministry of Health has registered 178 new coronavirus cases and 8 deaths in Oman on Monday.

The total cases in the country has now touched 85722, including 80810 recoveries and 685 deaths, according to MOH.

In the past 24 hours, 351 recoveries were reported.

The ministry urged everyone to adhere to social distancing instructions issued by the Supreme Committee and the MOH, as well as staying at home and not going out unless necessary.
