Authority for Public Services Regulation issues mechanism to file complaints

Muscat: The Authority for Public Services Regulation has issued a mechanism to file a complaint with the Authority.

A statement issued online by the Authority for Public Services Regulation said, "Distinguished subscribers, you can file a complaint with the Authority after following the following steps:

 1. Communicating with the electricity provider company in the region and submitting a formal complaint to it.

 2. The company will then respond to the complaint. In the event that you are not satisfied with the response, you can request that the complaint be raised to the company's subscriber services director."

"If you are not satisfied, then you can request an official letter from the company to file a complaint with the authority. The authority also notes that the companies must respond to the complaints of subscribers. Subscribers can contact the companies by phone or via social media," the statement added.
