ROP arrests seven people for smuggling drugs

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has arrested seven individuals of different nationalities for smuggling and trafficking narcotic substances.

A statement issued online by ROP said, "The Dhofar Governorate Police Command has arrested seven persons of Asian and African nationalities on charges of smuggling and trafficking in narcotic substances. A total of 52 containers of hashish, 4,539 tablets of psychotropic substances, morphine and crystal drugs were found in their possession. The case is under process."
