Five expats arrested on kidnap charge

Muscat: Five Asian people have been arrested on a charge of kidnapping another person of the same nationality in South Al Sharqiyah Governorate on Thursday.

A statement issued online by the Royal Oman Police, ( ROP ), said:”South Sharqiyah Police Command arrested five Asian people on charges of kidnapping another person of the same nationality and communicating with his family to demand money, and the case is under process.”
