Undersecretary of MoC resigns from all boards and companies

Muscat: The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Commerce has announced his resignation from all previous positions. He said, "I believe that continuing in the boards of these companies does not correspond to the tasks assigned to me now." 

Dr. Saleh bin Said bin Salim Masan said, in the first comment after his appointment as Undersecretary of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion for Commerce and Industry, "Since the first hours of my entry into the ministry, I have signed letters of resignation from the membership of all public and private boards of directors, starting with resignation from the board of directors of the Oman Development Bank."

"I thank and appreciate all their confidence, but I believe that continuing in the boards of these companies is not compatible with the tasks assigned to me by the ministry."
