Police helpline in Oman to temporarily stop taking calls

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP), has announced a temporary stop of calls at the Police Operations Center.

A statement issued online ROP said: "The Royal Oman Police (ROP) draws everyone’s attention that the Police Operations Centre will stop receiving calls via the number 9999 for some time due to a technical failure in the public communication network for emergency numbers."
