Smuggling of cigarettes thwarted, over 25,000 boxes seized

Muscat: The customs officials in Oman thwarted an attempt to smuggle more than 25,000 boxes of cigarettes to Oman.

In a statement, the customs officials said, "The officials at Al Wajajah Port thwarted an attempt to smuggle over 25,750 boxes of banned cigarettes hidden along with other goods boxes."
