Recovery rate among elderly reaches 70 per cent in Oman

Muscat: The rate of recovery among the elderly has reached 70 per cent in the Sultanate, data released by the National Center of Statistics and Information (NCSI) has revealed.

According to the latest data issued by the NCSI, 7 out of 10 confirmed cases with COVID-19 among older adults of age 60 years and above, had recovered till August 6, 2020.

The total percentage of recovery from COVID-19 in Oman is at 92 per cent.
