Number of expats decreases in 2020 compared to previous year

Muscat: The total number of expats in the Sultanate has decreased during the first half of 2020 by 9.3 per cent compared to the same period in 2019. 

A statement issued online by Oman News Agency (ONA) said, "The National Center for Statistics and Information (NCSI) indicated a decrease in the total number of expatriates in the Sultanate during the first half of this year by 9.3 per cent compared to the same period in 2019, bringing their number to 1,589,883.
