Dar Al Atta'a hands over houses to two  needy families

Muscat: Dar Al Atta'a Association recently handed over houses (No 87 and 88) worth OMR90,000 to two needy families under its programme “Maskani; Ma’amani” which means “My Home is My Haven”.
The programme covers construction and maintenance of houses as well as monthly support like payment of water and electricity charges among other things.
The first house was purchased for a family of eight and was furnished with the necessary home appliances and furniture. The second house was built for a family comprising five orphans and was also supplied with home appliances and furniture.
Since its establishment, Dar Al Atta'a Association has sought to provide a better life for individuals in need and has so far established 88 houses and has provided maintenance for over 500 houses.
Maryam bint Issa Al Zadjali, the Chairperson of Dar Al Atta’a Association, said: “Dar Al Atta'a has, since it was established, supported the needy families and responded to their needs and requirements.”
“The family welfare programme of Dar Al Atta'a is one of the significant programmes”, she said adding “we work to ensure safe residences for the needy families for those who do not own houses and we provide maintenance to families with houses which require such service.”
"The cases which receive our support are subjected to consideration in accordance with the system applicable to Dar Al Atta'a, she said. Dar Al Atta'a also conducts field studies and makes field visits to evaluate the cases", she said.
