MEDC continues its field visits

Muscat: Muscat Electricity Distribution Company (MEDC) a member of Nama Group - continued its field visits to various electrical projects covering the Governorate of Muscat to point out the progress of work and programmes and their compliance with the Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) requirements in place to achieve safe accident-free work environment and raise awareness in this aspect.
Based on the principle of focusing on health and safety initiatives and not making any concessions in this regard, MEDC was able to record 7,753,415.9 safe man-hours, without fatality or loss time injury till beginning of June 2020.
It is worth noting that the company has renewed three international ISO certificates which are ISO 45001 in occupational health and safety management systems and ISO 9001 in quality management ISO 14001 in the environmental management system.
