Weather condition to affect parts of Oman

Muscat: A weather condition may affect the provinces bordering the Arabian Sea, starting from Friday and lasting for four days, the General Directorate of Meteorology announced.

Oman Meteorology said: "Specialists at the National Multi Hazard Early Warning Centre are closely following weather conditions over the Arabian Sea, as clouds are likely to flow to the governorates of South Al Sharqiyah, Al Wusta and Dhofar from Friday till Monday with chances of isolated rains."

"Cumulus clouds also continue to form over the Al Hajar Mountains and its adjacent areas with chances of thunderstorms, accompanied by active winds and hail."
