Regus opens sixth business centre in Oman

Muscat: Leading global workspace provider Regus has announced the opening of a new business centre in Muscat to meet the growing demand for flexible workspaces in the Sultanate.
The Oman Hormuz Grand Regus Business Centre is conveniently located in Al Matar Street, Airport Heights in Al Seeb, adjacent to Muscat Hills Golf and Country Club, and a short drive from the Muscat International Airport.
The new centre spans 740sqm and contains an estimated number of 44 offices and 110 workstations and two conference rooms. Regus already has five centres in Muscat at Al Nahdah Road, Al Mawaleh, Shatti Al Qurum, Al Khuwair and Bowsher. There are also plans to open another facility at the Oman Arab Bank Building, Muttrah Business District in Ruwi in third quarter of 2019.
Katerina Manou, Regus Regional Vice President, said: “We are delighted to announce the opening of our sixth facility in Oman to meet the growing demand for flexible workspaces in new and emerging locations across Muscat. The Sultanate is increasingly becoming a hub for local entrepreneurship and there is a real need for efficient work space with flexible leasing plans. Our goal is to bridge this gap and deliver contemporary office spaces to help local businesses flourish in the coming months.”
The Omani Government’s economic diversification plans are positively impacting the economy. According to the projections of the Arab Monetary Fund (AMF), the Sultanate’s economic growth rate is expected to reach 2.8 per cent in 2019, as a result of policies pursued to diversify production, stimulate private sector investment, improve the business environment, and boost competitiveness. As Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) also accelerates, there is fresh opportunity for entrepreneurs looking to kick start their business, while keeping their overheads low.
As the largest International workspace provider in Oman, Regus aims to support new businesses that are looking to lease physical office spaces. Each private office can be upgraded to add more desks or relocated, while temporary offices can also be rented, to cover the duration of a project.
The serviced offices are supplied with furniture, high-speed internet and a staffed reception, with additional services such as meeting rooms and virtual offices available.
