Six sanitisers banned in Oman

Muscat: The Public Authority for Consumer Protection (PACP) has stopped the sale of six sanitisers that do not meet the required specifications of being effective against the novel coronavirus.

The Chairman of the Public Authority for Consumer Protection has issued Decision No. (2020/145) to stop the circulation of the following sterilizers which are New NB, Blue Drop, Rojanet (Red Fruit), MCL professional, Handy and Glow .

The Authority said in its statement, "The reason for stopping these products is due to non-conformity with health and safety conditions and standards specifications."
