New born child airlifted to hospital by Royal Air Force of Oman

Muscat: The Royal Air Force of Oman has carried out two medical evacuations, one of which is a newborn child from Musandam.

The Ministry of Defense said in a statement: "This morning, a plane of the Royal Air Force carried out the medical evacuation of a newborn child suffering from health problems. He was transferred from wilayat of Khasab in Musandam Governorate to a hospital in Muscat Governorate to receive the necessary treatment."

"Another plane evacuated a citizen suffering from a critical health condition. The citizen was transferred from Lima, to Khasab Hospital, Musandam Governorate, to receive health care and necessary treatment,"the statement added.

"This comes within the framework of the humanitarian services and efforts provided by the Royal armed forces and other departments of the Ministry of Defense to citizens and residents in the homeland along with other government institutions."
