Muscat: For the second day in a row a part of the Sultanate will witness heavy rain associated with thunderstorms, Oman Metrology announced.
Oman metrology said: "Aerial photos show formation of cumulative clouds on the Hajar Mountains with the possibility of expanding in the coming hours, and the condensation of low clouds on the coasts and mountains of Dhofar Governorate with chances of fall of drizzle."
The Public Authority of Civil Aviation said in the weather forecast of today: "The weather is mainly clear skies over most of the Sultanate's governorates with chances of clouds developments, isolated rain, and occasionally thunder over Al Hajar mountains and it's adjacent wilayat towards afternoon."
