Passengers at Muscat Airport required to check in four hours before departure

Muscat: Passengers flying out of Muscat International Airport, once it reopens to commercial flights, have to arrive around four hours before departure.

The instructions were issued by Oman Airports as part of a series of procedures to ensure passenger safety during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

“Before travelling, departing passengers are recommended to complete their travel procedures online and use e-tickets,” said Oman Airports. “Passengers are allowed to carry only one handbag, and must arrive at the airport three to four hours before the flight departure time.”

Passengers showing symptoms of COVID-19 should not come to the airport, and immediately contact the relevant health centre. Masks should be worn the entire time that passengers are at the airport terminal.
