Work on Batinah Expressway petrol stations begins

Muscat: Work has begun for building temporary petrol stations on the Batinah Expressway, the Ministry of Transport and Communications announced on Tuesday.
In January, the Ministry of Transport and Communications had signed an agreement with Oman Oil Marketing Company to establish four temporary petrol stations on the Batinah Expressway.
Following the agreement, on Tuesday, the ministry said: “Construction on the temporary petrol stations has started across the Batinah Expressway.”
“These stations will be part of the truck weighing stations,” added the ministry.
According to authorities at Oman Oil Marketing Company, all four stations will become operational within a month. The ministry had announced earlier that there will be four locations initially: Two of the stations will be in Northern Batinah and the other two in Southern Batinah.
