Muscat: The Ministry of Health has registered 1142 new coronavirus cases in Oman on Wednesday.
Among those, 471 new cases were of expats and 671 of Omanis.
The total cases in the country has now touched 33,536, including 17972 recoveries and 142 deaths, according to MOH.
The ministry urged everyone to adhere to social distancing instructions issued by the Supreme Committee and the MOH, as well as staying at home and not going out unless necessary.
