Dar Al Atta'a extends financial support to 'Fak Kurbah'

Muscat: Dar Al Atta'a has extended support to seven families by contributing OMR13, 300 for the release of prisoners before Eid Al Fitr as part of the 'Fak Kurbah' initiative.
Dr Shamsa bint Hamad Al Harthi, Director General of Dar Al Atta'a, said that Islam has encouraged people to extend support during such difficult and tough times.
We have always believed that each one deserves a second chance, said Dr Hamad bin Hamdan Al Rabiei, Vice Chairman of Oman Lawyers Association.
"We aim to support those behind the bars for financial claims and to release them. This was the reason for our launch of 'Fak Kurbah' initiative" in 2012, which has been honoured by securing His Majesty the Sultan Award for Voluntary Work in 2015," he added.
He also expressed his appreciation for the support of Dar Al Atta'a for bringing back joy to seven families.
It is worth mentioning that Dar Al Atta'a financially supports the needy families and stands by their side during the various religious and other occasions.
