Shrimp stocks confiscated in Oman

Muscat: Stocks of over 1, 200 kilos of fresh shrimp have been seized by the fish control team in Muscat Governorate.

A statement issued online by the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries said: "In cooperation with the Royal Oman Police (ROP), the fish control team in the Governorate of Muscat has seized more than 1,200 kilos of fresh shrimp that was circulated outside the fishing season."

"Necessary legal measures are underway against the violators," the statement added.
