Muscat: The Sultanate's Embassy in the United Arab Emirates has issued a statement regarding the entry of Omani citizens into the United Arab Emirates.
A statement issued online by Oman's Embassy in Abu Dhabi said: "The Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Abu Dhabi notes that Omani citizens who have permission to enter the the United Arab Emirates must provide a medical certificate (PCR) confirming that they are free of the coronavirus from one of the hospitals and medical centers accredited by the Ministry of Health in the Sultanate."
"The embassy also notes that the medical certificate is compulsory to enter the country as of June 22, 2020, in the context of the measures taken by the United Arab Emirates to limit the spread of the Coronavirus," the statement added.
