Majlis praises HM’s order on panel to oversee restart of normal economic activites

Muscat: Majlis Al Shura Office has praised the Royal Orders of His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik, on formation of a committee affiliated to the COVID-19 Supreme Committee and chaired by the Minister of Interior and Chairman of the Supreme Committee which is tasked with setting the appropriate mechanism to ensure speedy return to normal economic activities.
This came in the 14th meeting of the first annual convening (2019-2020) of the ninth term ( 2019-2023) of the Majlis Al Shura held under the chairmanship of Khalid bin Hilal Al Mawali, Chairman of Majlis Al Shura in the presence of the Majlis members and Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Nadabi, Secretary of Majlis Al Shura.
The Majlis Al Shura Office followed up on with the continued government efforts aimed to curb the spread of COVID-19 pandemic in the Sultanate. It also followed up on the efforts of COVID-19 Supreme Committee and the departments concerned on dissemination of awareness on the pandemic.
The Majlis Al Shura Office also expressed thanks and appreciation for all sectors of the society for observing the precautionary measures for curbing the spread of the virus, mainly at the workplaces and public places.
