Security forces man Dhofar Governorate checkpoints

Muscat: The military and security units are manning the checkpoints along the roads leading to the Dhofar Governorate. This move is part of the plans to support the national efforts aimed to mitigate the impacts of the spread of COVID-19 pandemic and to control the movement of citizens and residents.
The activation of checkpoints came as part of the implementation of the decisions of the Supreme Committee tasked with the mechanism to handle the developments of COVID-19 pandemic.
The Sultan's Armed Forces call upon citizens and residents to fully comply with the decisions of the Supreme Committee and to cooperate with the personnel at the checkpoints.
