His Majesty issues two Royal Decrees

Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik has issued two Royal Decrees, as follows:
Royal Decree No.62/2020 on appointing a Head for the Oman Investment Institution.
Article (1) appoints Abdulsalam bin Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Murshdi as a Head of the Oman Investment Institution, with the rank of a Minister.
Article (2) says that this decree shall be published in the Official Gazette and be enforced from its date of issue.
Royal Decree No.63/2020 on ratifying an agreement between the Sultanate of Oman and the Slovak Republic on avoidance of double taxation and prevention of income tax evasion, signed in Muscat on March 25, 2018.
Article (1): ratifies the above-mentioned agreement in accordance with the attached version.
Article (2) says that this decree shall be published in the Official Gazette and takes effect from its date of issue.
