Muscat: 33 employees of the Muscat Municipality, who have recovered from COVID-19, have donated blood plasma to other patients.
The municipality said in a statement: "A number of employees and workers in Muscat Municipality, recovered from the novel coronavirus, donated plasma at blood donation centres designated by the Ministry of Health in accordance with the conditions set by the Ministry."
"This initiative will contribute to immuno-plasma treatment, which has been proven its effectiveness in treating COVID-19 cases," the muncipality added.
