COVID-19: Government quashes rumours of infection spread from wedding in Oman

Muscat: The Government Communication Centre (GC) has described as fake, news that 300 people were infected with the coronavirus in Muscat governorate, after they attended a wedding.

The GC said in a clarification: "There is no truth to the above news which has been circulated in social media platforms. We invite everyone to obtain information from official sources and to avoid spreading rumors."
