COVID 19: Expat detained for selling clothes in Oman

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP), has detained a number of individuals for violating the decision of the Supreme Committee to deal with COVID-19.

A statement issued online by ROP stated, "Police Headquarter of Musandam Governorate detained an expatriate for selling clothes in a private house. In addition a number of citizens were detained for gathering and purchasing clothes and administrative fines were issued for several individuals as a result of violating the decisions of the Supreme Committee to deal with COVID-19."
