Several arrested for smuggling tobacco into Oman

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has arrestsed 14 individuals of different nationalities on charges of infiltration and smuggling of smoking tobacco.

A statement issued online by ROP said: "Musandam Governorate Police Command seized two boats with 14 people of different nationalities onboard. They have been arrested on charges of infiltration and smuggling quantities of smoking tobacco. Legal measures against them were completed."
