Avoid crossing wadis, stay at home: ROP

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has received a report of a citizen in Dhofar governorate whose vehicle drifted while he was inside the car.

A statement issued online by ROP said: "A report has been received about a citizen whose vehicle drifted, while he was inside his vehicle, in Wadi Dhahboun in the wilayat of Thumrait, and the search for him is ongoing."

"The ROP calls on everyone to not risk crossing wadis and stay at homes until the weather stabilises and the water levels in the wadis have reduced," the statement added.
