Over 100 prisoners released by Fak Kurba initiative

Muscat: More than 100 prisoners have been released by Fak Kurba initiative during the third week of Ramadan.

The initiative said in a statement, "During the third week of Fak Kurba, the initiative succeeded in releasing 195 cases, by paying all its financial claims. The total number of released cases reached 486."

"The new cases distributed as follow: 77 cases in Muscat governorate, 38 cases in Dhofar governorate, 18 cases in Al Dakhiliyah governorate, 17 cases in South Al Sharqiyah, 16 in South Al Batinah, 12 cases in North Al Batinah, 5 cases in North Al Sharqiyah, 4 cases in Al Dhahirah Governorate. In governorates of Buraimi and Wusta 2 cases for each," the statement added.
