COVID-19: Muscat reports 221 new cases today as per Tarassud app

Muscat: Muscat Governorate reports 221 new cases of coronavirus today, followed by Al Dakhiliyah Governorate with 18 new cases, according to the Ministry of Health app Tarassud.

The Sultanate registered 284 new cases of coronavirus today with a total of 4625 cases, 1350 recoveries and 19 death.

More than of 74 per cent of coronavirus cases have recorded in Muscat Governorate with a total number of 3467 cases, 2273 of them registered in Mutrah and 562 cases in wilayat of Seeb, 502 in Boushar and 97 in Al Amirat. Muscat governorate record 15 deaths and 680 recoveries among the cases.

South Al Batinah Governorate ranked second on the number of infection with 376 cases of covid19, 230 recovery and 3 deaths. Al Dakhiliyah Governorate ranked third on the number of infection with 18 new cases among a total of 224 cases have been registered and 125 cases have recovered.

The number of cases in South Al Sharqiyah governorate reached 192,137 of them registered in Jalan bni buali, 38 cases in Al Kamil Wal Wafi and three cases in Jalan bni buhassan. North Al Batinah Governorate has registered 10 new cases among a total of 209 cases, 105 recoveries and one death.

38 cases in the governorates of North Al Sharqiyah and Al Buraimi, with 55 confirmed infections in Al Dhahirah Governorate and 20 cases in Dhofar Governorate. Al Wusta governorate still free of coronavirus cases and Musandam Governorate records the lowest cases of infection, with only one case and five recovery cases.
