MSM index ends marginally lower

Muscat: Muscat Securities Market (MSM) general index (30) lost 4.19 points, comprising a decline by 0.121 per cent to close at 3,446.70 points, compared to the last session, which stood at 3,450.89 points.
The trading value stood at OMR403,484, comprising a decline by 59.93 per cent compared to the last session, which stood at OMR1,006,962.
The report released by MSM pointed out that the market value declined by 0.074 per cent to reach about OMR18.12 billion.
The report added that the value of shares bought by non-Omani investors reached OMR162,000, comprising 40.21 per cent. The value of shares sold by non-Omani investors reached OMR176,000, comprising 43.67 per cent. The net non-Omani investment declined by 3.47 per cent to OMR14,000.
