MSM index ends marginally lower

Muscat: Muscat Securities Market (MSM) general index (30) lost 14.71 points, comprising a decline by 0.422 per cent to close at 3,469.27 points, compared to the last session, which stood at 3,483.98 points.
The trading value stood at OMR1,033,084, comprising a drop by 9.59 per cent compared to the last session, which stood at OMR1,142,644.
The report released by MSM pointed out that the market value fell by 0.086 per cent to reach about OMR18.17 billion.
The report added that the value of shares bought by non-Omani investors reached OMR65,000, comprising 6.29 per cent. The value of shares sold by non-Omani investors reached OMR92,000, comprising 8.88 per cent. The net non-Omani investment declined by 2.59 per cent to OMR27,000.
