Customs clearance offices at Al-Wajajah post in Oman to close

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has announced the closure of customs clearance offices in Al-Wajajah border post, starting from Wednesday, May 6.

A statement issued online by the Government Communication Center (GC), said: "In compliance with the decisions of Supreme Committee in charge of dealing with the coronavirus and based on recommendations of Ministry of Health, the General Administration of Customs has decided to close customs clearance offices at the Al-Wajajah border post starting from Wednesday. "

"All importers, exporters and customs clearing applicants must take advantage of the Bayan system for remote customs clearance,"the statement added.
