Shops seized in Oman for violating Supreme Committee's decisions

Muscat: The Ministry of Regional Municipalities and Water Resources has seized a number of shops for violation of the decisions of the Supreme Committee in various wilayats of the Sultanate.

A statement issued online by the Government Communication Center (GC), said, "The Ministry has seized two shops, one of them for selling abayas and shela and the other one for sewing women's clothes."

GC pointed out that, "A store was seized for selling phones and was not committed to taking preventive measures. Meanwhile, the Ministry has raided two sewing workshops in a house."

"We urge everyone to adhere to the decisions issued by the Supreme Committee to deal with developments resulting from the spread of the coronavirus and in order to avoid any legal issue," the statement added.
