Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries adopts new project

Muscat: The Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries has adopted an Integrated Fish Farming project.

A statement issued online by Oman News Agency (ONA), said, "Integrated Fish Farming project aims to take advantage of freshwater and areas planted in vegetable farms to produce various types of fish, the most important of which is Tilapia which produced from it around of 192 tons in 2019 compared to 33 tons in 2016."
