Coronavirus: Municipality in Oman denies rumours on resuming industrial activity

Muscat: Al Buraimi Municipalities has denied a rumour circulating that it will allow some light industrial activities.

The Municipality said in a statement: "Referring to the news circulated in social media about Al Buraimi municipality giving permission to open facilities for light industrial activities, this is a rumour. The Buraimi Municipalities Directorate wants to note that the news is incorrect and that the governorate’s municipalities are committed to following up the implementation of the Supreme Committee’s decisions and the Ministry’s decisions issued in this regard."

In this regard, Al Buraimi Municipalities has raided a tailor shop and issued a violation against them for lack of commitment to the Supreme Committee decisions.
