MSM index ends higher

Muscat Securities Market (MSM) general index (30) added 31.21 points, comprising a rise by 0.896 per cent to close at 3,513.29 points, compared to the last session which stood at 3,482.08 points.
The trading value stood at OMR751,595, comprising a rise by 69 per cent compared to the last session, which stood at OMR444,726.
The report released by MSM pointed out that the market value rose by 0.139 per cent to reach about OMR18.19 billion.
The report added that the value of shares bought by non-Omani investors reached OMR46,000, comprising 6.15 per cent. The value of shares sold by non-Omani investors reached OMR495,000, comprising 65.92 per cent. The net non-Omani investment declined by 59.77 per cent to OMR449,000.
