Muscat: The Ministry of Housing has resumed conducting online real estate transactions through its website.
According to the ministry, the services will be available from Sunday and transactions related to property sale, exchange, donation, inheritance, mortgage and ownership receipts will be available.
The ministry said in a statement : "Steps to complete the transactions are as follows, first book an appointment through ministry website (www.housing.gov.om), then you will receive an SMS with the date of appointment and then the two parties will attend to complete the transaction and receive the receipt."
The ministry noted that the sale of property in Muscat Governorate will be through real estate brokerage offices.
