Firefighters continue efforts to douse fire in Oman food store

Muscat: The firefighting teams are continuing their efforts to put out a fire that broke out in a food store in Wilayat of Liwa.

A statement issued online by Public Authority for Civil Defense and Ambulance (PACAD) said, "After more than five hours have passed, the efforts of firefighting teams are still continuing to put out the fire which broke out at food store in North Al Batinah governorate in wilayat of Liwa."

An earlier statement issued online by PACDA said, "Fire extinguishers and water tankers are onsite to deal with the fire and no injuries have been reported until this moment," the statement added.
